I am drawn to the drama in archival images. Modern color photos of Civil War battle reenactments don’t create the sense of story that old ferrotypes, tintypes and daguerreotypes did. I enjoy being able to transform a new photo of a reenactor into a timeless treasure. Over the years I have collected digitized daguerreotype frames and period backdrops to add authenticity to my final images.

Historical Photo Re-Creation is an exciting way for a museum or historical society to promote an upcoming reenactment. It also makes a great keepsake for those who attend reenactment events.
